Although Natasha and Benjamin now reside in Santa Monica, CA they lived here in New York City for a few years. To them New York still feels like home, so it’s no wonder that this is where they chose to have their photo session . We had a blast shooting at the farmer’s market with so many colorful vegetables, flowers and fruits to choose from. After that we took the train up to Grand Central Station.  Although I only spent a few hours with them, it was very apparent that Natasha and Benjamin were very much in love. It seems like it was just yesterday that I shot Jue & Kiet’s engagement session back in June @ Sands Point Preserve. I finally had time to starting blogging about their wedding which I shot in August at the Swan Club out in Long Island, New York. We started the day at Kiet’s house and he was still in his boxers when we arrived. Jue was getting her makeup done by Rieko Shiba, who I like to refer to as “the magician”. Rieko totally makes magic with her MUA tools. Jue, I have to thank your mother for the wonderful gift she gave me and my wife. Thank you again. It was my first time at Planting Fields Arboretum to shoot an wedding outdoor session. The place was amazing…please check out this set. -c.c.

Avis and Wayne are getting marry this December in Hong Kong. Wayne has his own import & export business here in New York and Hong Kong. We met last year to schedule this wedding engagement session. As the the day of the engagement photo session approached, Avis and Wayne became nervous–so nervous in fact that they couldn’t eat and sleep well the night before. As it turned out, there was no need to worry.  We had a blast strolling around Central Park, Flatiron area, and finished off in Times Square with a Fusion video interview. Avis and Wayne already recommended Hong Kong couple Chloé & Daniel for their New York City wedding engagement session which I shot last March in the Meatpacking District. When looking for an Asian Wedding Photographer in New York, Pion found me on the internet. Don’t you love the power of the internet? Pion and Patrick are from Hong Kong and wanted to take their engagement photos in the best city in the world — New York City — prior to their 2011 wedding reception. They lugged four suitcases packed with gowns, dresses, suits and accessories. This is such a humbling feeling when the couple flies thousands of miles for photographs for one of the most important moments of their lives. It gives me great pleasure to unleash some teasers for everyone to enjoy.
