Can I say this world is not that big after all? It turns out Ronald went to high school and college with my sister-in-law. On Judy’s side, her parents and grandparents both knew my dad back in the days when they were all in China. I have to thank the Internet again for landing this wonderful client and rekindling previous family friendships. We met Judy at her parent’s house in Sheepshead Bay, which was 5 minutes from where I lived (big bonus already). Judy was having her makeup and hair trail done and was not ready yet but sushi was already laid out on the table (another bonus..hahhahah). Then I started to chat with Judy’s mom in Taishanese (native southern Chinese dialect) and found out we are neighbors back home. They lived a town over from us. The rest of the conversation was history. I am so glad to have this opportunity to meet the friends my dad knew and be their wedding photographer for this special celebration.
