When looking for an Asian Wedding Photographer in New York, Pion found me on the internet. Don’t you love the power of the internet? Pion and Patrick are from Hong Kong and wanted to take their engagement photos in the best city in the world — New York City — prior to their 2011 wedding reception. They lugged four suitcases packed with gowns, dresses, suits and accessories. This is such a humbling feeling when the couple flies thousands of miles for photographs for one of the most important moments of their lives. It gives me great pleasure to unleash some teasers for everyone to enjoy.

On a normal day, Central Park is packed with tourists.  On this winter day in 2010, it was quite deserted.  I missed the first snow storm of 2010 with no camera on hand.  When the second storm came around, there was no way I was going to miss this opportunity to photo Central Park in its winter wonderland moment.  Please enjoy the photos.

I was honored to be asked by Joe Zhou, one of the best videographers in New York to co-shoot with him on this commercial set for Magnolia Jewelry Corporation.  The model, Miss Jessica Cui 崔藝馨 is the recipient of the Miss NY Chinese Beauty Pageant 2009.  It was a long and tiring shoot since they had so many outfits and jewelries.  Too bad I didn’t take the blue diamond home (just kidding).  Enjoy!

Hi Everyone!  It’s been awhile since my last post.  Right now, it is the season to give.  I had the opportunity to donate my photography services to the New York Asian Women’s Center annual benefit gala.  The event was held at the upscale Broad Street Ballroom located in heart of the financial district and MC by Liz Cho of Eyewitness News of WABC.  If you know of any one who is battered or need help, please find out more information about NY Asian Women’s Center.

Founded in 1982 as the first domestic violence organization on the East Coast to serve the Asian communities, the New York Asian Women’s Center (NYAWC) helps battered women overcome violence and govern their own lives, free of abuse. The Center also works to raise public awareness about domestic violence, advocate for the rights of battered women, and create an agenda for social change.
